WE ARE FOR THE HARVEST

We exist to plant seeds of the gospel at every possible opportunity.  From the way parents disciple their children, to the way employees engage in the workplace, to the way neighbors show hospitality, to every sermon, Bible study, and small group: Planting seeds of the gospel is the calling of this church.

We exist to see followers of Jesus mature in their faith.  Jesus called us to make disciples and that means that we are to make lifelong learners and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We have designed the Sunday morning gathering, small groups, Sunday School and more with this task in mind.

As we are faithful in sharing the gospel and helping Christians grow in their faith, we then trust the Lord of the Harvest to bring about the harvest.  The harvest does not come because of our work but because of God's work in us so then we desire to be a people who are dependent on our Lord to do His work.

FOR THE HARVEST

Everywhere we go, we are to be planting seeds of the gospel.  We are commanded to make disciples (learners/followers) of the Lord Jesus.  As they are baptized and taught they are growing in their walk with Christ.  We plant, we grow and by God's grace the harvest comes. Listen here as Pastor Matt shares the vision of the elders to lead First Grace to be For the Harvest.
